Privacy Policy

Summary

Notomo is a native Mac companion for Apple Notes. Your notes stay in Apple Notes. Notomo does not operate a hosted notes service and does not sell your note content.

Your notes

Notomo reads the active Apple Notes window so it can format text, run commands, and attach note context to assistant requests. That content stays on your Mac unless you explicitly send it to an AI provider you configure.

Notomo does not create a replacement notes database or sync your notes to Cosmo Studio servers.

AI providers

When you use assistant, inline AI, or Skills features, Notomo sends only the context you choose to the provider and model you configure—such as ChatGPT, Gemini, OpenRouter, or your own API keys.

Those requests are governed by the privacy policy of the provider you select. Notomo does not include AI credits and does not proxy your AI usage through Cosmo Studio.

Optional analytics

Notomo may ask for consent to collect anonymous product usage signals through TelemetryDeck. Analytics are off until you have seen the notice and can be changed anytime in Settings → About.

• Signals are limited to product events such as feature usage and app version.
• Notomo does not send note text, AI prompts, AI responses, or clipboard contents to analytics.
• If you decline analytics, Notomo continues to work normally.

Permissions

Notomo uses macOS Accessibility and Apple Events to understand the active Apple Notes window and place results back into your writing flow. You can revoke these permissions in System Settings at any time.

Website

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Standard web server logs may include IP address, browser type, and requested pages. The site does not use advertising trackers.

Payments

When paid checkout opens, payments will be processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle may receive purchase, billing, tax, and payment information needed to complete the transaction, handle receipts, support refunds, and meet legal obligations.

Notomo does not store full payment card details on Cosmo Studio servers.
