- Markdown shortcuts turn plain-text triggers for headings, checklists, quotes, dividers, links, and tables into Apple Notes formatting.
- The inline toolbar formats selected text inside Apple Notes without leaving the current sentence.
- Slash commands open near the Apple Notes caret for headings, tables, templates, dates, and AI actions.
- Quick Open finds and opens Apple Notes notes from the keyboard.
- Skills are reusable prompts stored in an Apple Notes folder and callable from the inline toolbar, slash menu, assistant, global Skills launcher, or PopClip.
- The note-aware assistant can use selected text, visible text, the full note, and inline images as context, then paste answers back into Apple Notes.

- Notomo is not a replacement notes app. Apple Notes remains the system of record.
